RTB webinars can be utilized as outreach into a biotech company’s broader ecosystem of customers, clients, friends and family.
We are living in a biological renaissance. New categories, or modalities, of medicine allow precise delivery of targeted therapies to specific tissues in the human body. These modalities include: RNA therapies, gene-editing, AAV gene therapy, CAR-T, cell therapy, ADCs and bispecific antibodies.
In our education series, we explore the historical, scientific and commercial context of these new medical treatments.

Recent clients:
Caring Cross is a non-profit company that helps expand patient access to curative cell therapies, such as CAR-T and HIV cell therapies. Throughout 2023 and 2024, Rising Tide Biology is delivering a customized education lecture series for the Caring Cross community.
The focus of this education is on AAV gene therapies and lentiviral based cell therapies. We discuss the scientific, clinical and commercial challenges facing these advanced medicines. Our monthly, online courses are widely attended by the Caring Cross community including: patients, patient advocates, clinical trial participants, healthcare providers and scientists.
Caring Cross uses our monthly, one-hour seminar as a focal point to bring their community together on a Friday afternoon for an educational end to the work week.
Live Presentations:
BIO International Convention was held in San Diego in June, 2022. On June 13, Kevin Curran PhD presented a one-hour review of the gene therapy field to an audience of 250 attendees. This course was taught in conjunction with Biotech Primer.
The talk focused on the clinical and commercial challenges of gene therapies.

04/15/2023: RTB delivered the keynote lecture for Healthpeak’s annual conference. Healthpeak properties is a leading real estate company in the life science industry. The RTB lecture focused on emerging trends in biotech that are relevant to the real estate industry.
9/27/2022: RTB is working in conjunction with Caring Cross to facilitate access to CAR-T for low and middle income countries. Our founder, Kevin Curran, recently co-authored a whitepaper with Caring Cross that explains the benefits of decentralized, cell therapy manufacturing. You can download the whitepaper on this page. The title of the paper is ‘A Place of Care approach to CAR-T Manufacturing‘.
